A love of literature and each other created a joyful poetry of flowers
Freya and George chose historic Avington Park in early June to exchange and celebrate their vows in a wedding underscored by their love of literature, illustration, poetry
and words.
Under the delicate tracery of Avington’s conservatory, tables were laid with a thoughtful selection of books, ancient bindings chosen for their guests for sentiment and meaning. Brass candlesticks gleamed and threw light on bindings and paper flowers alike, the blooms made out of the pages of their most loved poet, Keats, by a friend.
Among this literary ambience, the poetry of our highly considered flowers supported exactly as they should, adding quiet understated enhancement to the story - without ever becoming the narrative themselves.
Soft, floaty, feminine florals, deepened with shots of stronger tones, spoke throughout of the bride’s confident spirit and their joint bubbling joy at their union.
