A Bloomsbury era Wedding.
For Imogen and Rufus, the brief was joyful abundance with a sense of ease. Set beneath a sailcloth marquee
and framed by classical architecture, the florals took their cue from the English garden at full tilt:
generous, characterful and joyful.
Drawing on the spirit of Bloomsbury-era country weekends - think Vanessa Bell’s tables, slightly askew, flowers gathered rather than arranged - we layered dahlias, cosmos, garden roses and hedgerow foliage into loose centrepieces and sculptural urns. Colours were soft but confident: blush, apricot, cream and grassy green, lifted by moments of coral and wine.
Nothing overly styled, nothing too perfect. Just flowers in conversation with the setting - light,
expressive, and alive to the day.
