  • We grow the majority of our flowers on our own land and supplement with trusted British growers when needed, always prioritising locality and seasonality.

  • Our studio and flower farm are based at Lippen Wood Farm, Church Lane, West Meon, Hampshire, GU32 1JW. Visits are by appointment only.

  • Hortus Poeticus works in rhythm with the seasons, growing flowers that are kind to the land and expressive of place. Beauty, sustainability, and a sense of quiet poetry guide everything we do — from seed to vase.


Visiting the Farm

  • Hortus Poeticus is a working farm, and visits are offered by appointment only. We occasionally open the farm for workshops, events, or pre-arranged visits during the growing season.

  • Yes. Through workshops, seasonal events, and bespoke floral work, we offer farm-to-vase experiences that allow people to connect directly with how and where their flowers are grown.

Workshops & Learning

  • Yes. We offer seasonal bouquets and arrangements that reflect what is growing and at its best in the fields at that moment. Availability changes with the seasons.

  • We offer local delivery within Hampshire and nationwide delivery by overnight courier for selected bouquets, ensuring flowers arrive fresh and in good condition.

  • Our flowers are suitable for birthdays, celebrations, sympathy, seasonal moments, and everyday gifting. Each arrangement is shaped by what is naturally available at the time.


Flowers, Bouquets
& Delivery

  • We run seasonal workshops throughout the year, including sustainable flower arranging, wreath-making, and nature-led creative sessions inspired by the farm and landscape.

  • Yes. Our workshops focus on foam-free, sustainable techniques using seasonal English flowers. They are suitable for beginners and those looking to deepen their understanding of eco-conscious floristry.

  • Workshop dates are announced via our website and mailing list. Places are limited and can be booked online when released.


Weddings &
Bespoke Floral Work

  • Yes. We create wedding flowers using locally grown English flowers, designed with season, setting, and atmosphere in mind.

  • Couture Weddings are fully bespoke, beginning with a consultation and site visit, while Studio Weddings offer a curated selection of floral pieces and palettes for a simpler, more streamlined approach.

  • Studio Weddings are typically available within around 100 miles of the farm. Couture Weddings are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on location and season.
